My intent of writing this book; The Clown No One Wanted, is taken from the many different experiences that occurred throughout my life.  The theory behind the book was that people, especially children, needed something positive in their lives that will let them know that it is alright to be different.  We all need to be re-educated, young and old,  about the concept of diversity and that this book would also provide children and adults, with an understanding and acceptence of others that would benefit their lives in a positive manner.  The concept of hatred, greed, jealousy, and most of all bigotry are some of the obstacles one faces throughout life.  In a sense, this book is a fairy tale, however this story has similarities to my life while growing up in the south.
